  1. I like the fact that Kimi is up there in the stats already with a fastest lap.

  2. In terms of laps completed Grosjean is finally getting onto the back of Karthikeyan etc after making up for the first two races, but Schumacher: let’s not go there…

  3. Here’s to hoping that Lotus wins the Monaco Grand Prix to make it 6 different winners and 6 different constructors in the forst 6 races.
That’d help keep things spicy for Bernie :D

  4. For laps completed, could we see something for the teams (either as a total or average)?

  5. I watch a combination of Sky, BBC and SPEED coverage throughout the season and as far as I can remember neither of those channels rarely (if ever) comment on what such a brilliant job Kimi is doing this season.
Much was said about Schumi’s return to the sport but you barely hear a sniff of Kimi’s achievements this year.

I’m really not a Kimi fan, I support the McLaren boys but I have a very healthy respect for how he’s drove this year.

I don’t know if he’s hungrier than he was when he quit in ’09. I don’t know what it is.
Perhaps he realized that rally cars and NASCAR trucks wouldn’t give him the thrill and he got his appetite back.

Regardless, he’s been my driver of the season so far.

    1. I’m watching a mix of german RTL/N-TV and french TF1 coverage, they don’t speak alot of that neither. You actually hear alot more nice stuff about kimi coming from his rivals like ferrari and mclaren praising him and his driving skillz. That’s, in my opinion, much more precious than coming from random comentators ( You don’t want to know how bad the french ones are..) !

  6. What a shame. It’s clear that Lewis Hamilton is the fastest driver but Mclaren didn’t manage to make him the champion.
