Join us on RaceFans Live throughout every session of the Canadian Grand Prix weekend. Look out for the live page on the site at the following times and follow all the action with your fellow RaceFans.
The IndyCar season also continues this weekend at the fast and flowing Road America circuit. Unusually, the start time for this event means the race won’t finish before the grand prix begins, meaning it won’t be shown on its usual channel in the UK.

The timetable is entirely unchanged from last season, which I don’t mind an awful lot, especially as the race start time is the most ideal among the daylight North American GPs.

Las Vegas start time is the most ideal among the daylight North American GPs in your opinion too? 🙄🙄🙄

Las Vegas GP isn’t a ‘daylight’ event, so I leaf that out, solely referring to Canadian, Miami, US, & Mexico City GPs.
I thought my wording didn’t leave any room for interpretation.

Another brilliant marketing move by indycar to have the races overlap. Theres plenty of daylight to have indy start at 4pm est to avoid this

Road America’s noon start is key to its spectator base in the Chicago area who don’t want a late drive home. It’s unfortunate that it overlaps with F1, but IndyCar isn’t going to overhaul F1 in ratings without a large secular change in viewing dynamics. So I think the noon start is a worthwhile concession to keep their third-highest attended race a strong event on the ground.
