Pretty car!… sad about the shark fin, though, but that’s in the rules…
18th January 2012, 12:32 at 12:32 pm #190067AnonymousInactiveLooks brilliant. Great to see the white and red colour scheme back again and I hope Alex Wurz can get it fighting amongst the Audis and Peugeots. Those two have been unchallenged at the front for far too long now.
18th January 2012, 12:36 at 12:36 pm #190068AnonymousInactiveIt looks like a Lola chassis.
18th January 2012, 12:40 at 12:40 pm #190069Keith CollantineKeymaster@fer-no65 I don’t mind them to be honest. And it’s certainly better than having the cars flipping over! (Though it seems they haven’t completed solved that).
18th January 2012, 13:18 at 1:18 pm #190070GeeMacParticipantThat is a great looking thing! The shark fin does sort of spoil it, but head on it looks mega. Quite like the Peugeot 908…
18th January 2012, 13:23 at 1:23 pm #190071johnParticipantAlex Wurtz driving it? Ok Im in. Good luck to them.
18th January 2012, 13:45 at 1:45 pm #190072matt90ParticipantNice, I’ve been waiting for this. Looks a little gawky at the front, but then again the R18 is no shrinking violet and the 908 looks like an owl.
18th January 2012, 14:36 at 2:36 pm #190073IcthyesParticipantLooks awful but I guess they’re all going to. It’s the nature of the beast. As AJ said, just hoping that it brings a little more variety to a rather stagnant front end of the sport.
18th January 2012, 19:27 at 7:27 pm #190074Joey-PoeyParticipantThat’s too big to be a shark fin. That’s a whale fin.
18th January 2012, 19:36 at 7:36 pm #190075JPQuesadoParticipantIt looks like a mix of the Audi with the Peugeot. But it really looks good.
19th January 2012, 5:22 at 5:22 am #190076SouthPawRacerParticipant@joey-poey Whale dorsal fins are tiny.. you almost can’t see them! :P
19th January 2012, 7:34 at 7:34 am #190077Magnificent GeoffreyParticipantI love this. I love hybrids. I’d love to see the car be competitive, although Peugeot’s departure would make it slightly less impressive if they are.
19th January 2012, 13:25 at 1:25 pm #190078topdowntoedownMemberLooks a lot like the 908 to me, but I guess there are only so many shapes that ‘fit’ the rules.
Really looking forward to seeing them back – the GT-One was cut off in its prime.
