Great to see Manor have announced a driver for 2015. But I wonder who will drive alongside Will Stevens? Usually the ‘experts’ get it hopelessly wrong, so can we do better?
So who could it be? Rossi – has history with the team, but does he have money? van der Garde/Sutil – have money, but have never been talked about in connection with this team. Frijns – talent, but any money? Gutierrez/Magnussen/Vandoorne – placement from their parent teams? Palmer – very unlikely. Kobayashi – does he want another year like 2014?
Who knows!

No idea why, just a pick out of the blue.

Manor owns McLarren a lot of money; and if they use Vandoorne the don’t have to pay it back.26th February 2015, 18:03 at 6:03 pm #293030Craig WoollardParticipantThat’s almost like asking “who is eligible for F1 and has the most money?”
It will probably be Chilton.
26th February 2015, 21:42 at 9:42 pm #293075StrontiumParticipantDid Chilton’s funding not stop though? Or am I mistaken?
26th February 2015, 22:47 at 10:47 pm #293076AnonymousInactiveI hope it could be Richie Stanaway. I have a feeling it will be Beitske Visser…
Or Tio Ellinas? He has a history of racing with Manor (two years in GP3).27th February 2015, 2:20 at 2:20 am #293081SeanParticipantCasey stoner :o

If not him, probably a test driver. - AuthorPosts
