We are thinking about going with the Ferrari. Does anybody know if there’s a special parking lot to leave the car safely?

How does the parking of the car work:
    – do you have to make a reservation?
    – what are the costs?
    – how early do you have to park to get a parking spot not too far from the track?

Delighted that finaly the Nurburgring is on for 2013.
I’m thinking about grandstand 4 or 4a (Mercedes). Can anyone tell which one has a better view? Is it best to sit in the top rows or in the lower rows?

We stayed in a hotel in Dubai during the GP in 2011, cheaper and more cool things to do. You can rent a car and drive up to abu dhabi (1 hour).

    Any news on the tickets?
Does anyone know the price of the Mercedes Grandstand (4a) in 2011?
How is the parking at Nurburg? Busy? Tickets?

Spain pit walk will also be my first. But I did the pit walk in Monaco 2012, and it was great fun but very busy. You can see the cars at close range. I think it usualy starts around 15:00.
Try to find a hotel close to the R2 train line, it runs from the airport to the track. We booked our hotel close to Praca de Catalonia. The hotels will be getting more expensive, so it is wise to make a reservation as early as possible. We have bought tickets at grandstand F to have a great view at the first corner to see some overtaking.

    Hi Jamie,
Spa is really great, we went to the GP in 2011, and we will be there in 2013 (grandstand Gold8 again)
Like many other tracks the best way is by car. If you have GA, it’s best to get there really early (I think it opens by 8am), to get the best “seats”). If you have a grandstand, you can get there later. Parking is easy as you can buy a parking ticket along with the F1-ticket. Leaving the track on sunday will take a while (it took us 1,5hours to get to the highway).
Remember: it can be rainy and cold.
    cheers, JP

Since the germans are making a mess of the German GP 2013, we’re thinking about going to Silverstone next year in stead.
Is stand Village B any good for viewing?
    I’ve got the following “demands”:
    – covered (you’ll never how many cats and dogs it is raining in UK, see 2012)
    – high chance of overteaking (usually at the end of a long straight)
    – good view on a TV screen (to follow qualifying and the rest of the race)

We’re going to the Barce GP in 2013 and I’m curious about the train line R2:
    – the R2 train line runs from airport to the circuit?
    – The T10 is really the best option for a 4day trip?
    – how busy is it to catch a train? (our flight is at 22:00, is that possible?)
    – How does one get tickets for R2?

How about seats at F tribune? Are they any good? Is there a good view on a TV screen as well?
In my experience the best stand for watching the overtaking is at the end of a long straight!
G and H look good, but can you see any overtaking there?
