WAlbon now giving Williams as many points as Haas and Alfa Romeo combined!

Shame he did not manage to keep enough of the tyres alive to be able to take that place from Hamilton.

Hamilton is the last driver within mathematical reach for theoretical reference with a maximum of 232 points achievable over the remaining 8 races & 3 sprints.

Only interesting things left is Hamilton vs Alonso for 3rd and if Ocon, Gasly, Piastri and maybe Albon can pass Stroll.
The first three seem very likely, Albon is a bit of a stretch but he’s making good use of the good car he’s been having for just a half a dozen of races.

Theres going to be very little development on 2023 cars and Mercedes are already ahead so I expect a gap from now until the end.

Not sure how fast `Yuki would have been today, but I’m kind of impressive by Liam Lawson to finish this race just outside the points.

If my quick calculations are right, Red Bull can win the constructors’ championship in Singapore.
They need a perfect score of 44pts to do so, with Mercedes scoring zero, but that would leave Red Bull 354 points in the lead with 353 remaining.

Your calculations are correct with 1 addition, Red Bull doesn’t need fastest lap as long as neither Mercedes driver don’t get fastest lap. Than RB is 353 points ahead with 353 still available with RB having the most wins thus champion.
Max earliest chance in Japan but that would require Perez to retire and not finish 2nd. Most likely scenario is Qatar, if Max wins next 3 races he is champion regardless of sprint rate or where Perez finishes.

As far as I’m concerned verstappen wins the the championship in Japan if he leave with a 150 point lead. The FL points and sprint points are irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, especially due to the the small difference between points positions in he sprint.
Never thought a driver would win it with 6 races to go but here we are not complaining because it’s max and not Lewis and Merc

I was thinking that Red Bull indeed could get champion when i saw their lead. For Max it will be Quatar of Perez must doing a bad job.

Albon has outscored Lance Stroll since Canada.
What a waste of a seat…

While his father pulls the strings he still must answer to the rest of the shareholders. If they say he must be replaced then he is gone.

Both Verstappen and Red Bull are 87 points away from clinching their respective titles.

Correct if you take a simple approach of deducting their points scored from points still available however that is not really how it works. If Max wins in Singapore he scores 25 points but also reduces points available by 7 (1st is taken so only 2nd available), any bad performance of Perez accelerates that even more.
* If Max wins the next 3 main races he is champion in Qatar regardless what anyone else does.
* In most extreme version, if Perez retires from next 2 races and Max scores minimal 35 points (1st & 5th) than he would be champion in Japan. In that case he is 180 points ahead with 180 points still available but Max has most wins.
