Sorry, but I am going to add to this. I understand some will not see my point and feel free to report my comment if you feel it is unreasonable, however I want to state that I did report this caption.
I would first of all say that I am not suggesting any intent by the poster, and also add that I am not usually oversensitive to potentially un P.C. comments. However the premis of this ‘caption’ is purely that the guy in the picture is Japanese, and so is Tsunoda. I feel this is innapropriatte because I really doubt anyone would post a similar comment if the marshal were say Finnish, or Spanish. For example, if it were a Spanish marshal in a deckchair, then yes, I could see comments like “deckchairing is clearly a national pastime”, or “Alonso lost this round of Spanish musical chairs”, but I just dont see anyone referring to that marshal as Alonso simply because he was Spanish”.
As such I truly feel that the reference to this marshal as ‘being’ Tsunoda is rather inappropriate.
