How are preparations for Spa going? @mazdachris @spud @lin1876
Ok. I’ve done a 2:00 in testing and I reckon if I pushed it I could probably just about squeeze out a 1:59. I’ve managed a 1:58 in the C60, but probably best to stop banging on about that now, eh.
Spa is a reasonable track for me, though I’m prone to ‘wheel on the dirt’ mistakes on the faster corners, so for me, keeping consistent will be the biggest challenge.
I like Spa. I haven’t been on GT6 much since the last race, (Been on Bioshock a fair bit), but I do think I go reasonably well around there. The last race at Grand Valley gave me confidence that I can race closely with guys so I’m looking forward to this.

@david-a I won’t be there. Haven’t had any time or motivation to play the game since my Daytona disaster.
I’m sorry I wasn’t there this morning. I had some things to take care of here. To be honest, I’ve lost any enthusiasm for playing this game, (and other driving games too, if I’m honest), and I haven’t really had time or the patience to sit down and practice. It seems too, that no matter how much I used to practice, I still don’t improve very much (except for the odd couple of reasonably decent results by my standards). It seems that a lot of the time, if I do show up and score a point or two, it’s only because of there only being a small field of people or disconnects or such things, and that can get really tiresome. I’ll see how I feel next week.
It does seem like quite a few people are losing the enthusiasm for this game. I wonder if it’s something about GT6 which is just less fun than GT5. It is definitely a lot more buggy.
@mazdachris – Yeah, to be honest, while GT6 took some steps forward, it seems to have retained some bugs from GT5 and gained new ones. For instance Bald_Gye in a stationery BMW on Aboe’s screen, and Rasta4889 unable to see Bald_Gye!
GT6 also definitely needs shuffle racing back, that was fun in GT5.
@lin1876 @mazdachris @spud How about instead of boring ‘ol practice during the week, I run a one make lobby (KTM X-Bows?) with boost on, for fun. This game is a bit like bumper cars anyway!
