  1. Race pace is another matter.

    1. @jerejj
I wouldn’t bet on it. Ferrari made some changes overnight (you could hear Leclerc and Verstappen having a little chat about it after the interviews) and Leclerc’s long run in FP3 was much faster and more consustent than yesterday. Charles also saved a fresh set of softs for the race by only using a used set in Q2.

You cannot be serious softs wont even be used atall probably only do 8 laps. Will be med/med/hard or med\hard\hard unless leclerc is pitstop ahead and goes for flap.

Awesome lap from Leclerc, lots of pressure after that spin and absolutely delivered

    1. Remarkable Lewis in front of George but not delivering during the races..

      1. Its more a case of luck for george than non performance from Lewis. 2 races now safety car benefited russel while lewis got the short end of the stick. While it’s part of racing george has not yet outright beaten lewis in a straight forward fight that we are all waiting to see. Obviously they will trade wins thats racing. That does not diminish lewis talent but highlights the talent of both drivers.

  4. Nice to see the improvements from Mercedes. Hopefully in time more teams can slide up to the front. Good work from Schumacher. A much better performance from him. Good lap from Bottas again

    1. Well, they are back to the standard 0.6-0.7+ sec gap.

Mercedes needed the upgrades to stay ahead of haas and alfa rather than closing to the front.

  6. The plan was always to first get stability not outright performance from the car. Which it seems they have achieved. Next objective is to increase performance, extracting more speed qhile maintaining or improving on the stability of the car. Well done to Mercedes f1. Good improvement!

  7. All best teams seem got over of the porpoising. Look how low is FE floor, for ecs.

  8. Great lap from Leclerc, especially with the psychological baggage of no time set in the first try. I wonder if Verstappen would’we been able to top it, as i didn’t see many drivers improve on their first lap.
George Russell delivering, I’m happy to see the Mercs in the mix, could make things interesting.
I also like seeing Russell faster than Hamilton, not because I deny Hamilton’s speed, on the contrary, I consider him the best driver of his generation, but because Russell is proving to be the real deal. With, Verstappen, Leclerc, Russell and Norris, F1’s future is in safe hands.
Now if only we could get rid of DRS…

    1. I agree with u completely.i always said leclerc russel norris and verst with others like sainz etc just need good cars. Lewis has bad days but always overcomes. I cant recall another driver that has been fighting at the sharp end for soo many years. Even with the fastest car although arguably not always the fastest.

  9. Another excellent hot lap when it matters most from the qualifying king. The boy is really a cold-blooded creature.

  10. Leclerc is a one lap ace, period.

  11. The Shakira’s Grand Prix Spain Barcelona. Very big appearance of the Ferrari F1-75 and especially of the pilot C. Leclerc who showed leading elements and took the Pole. The C.Sainz driver was anxious but took 3rd place to start GP Shakira.
Disappointment for the Aston Martin team. Unlucky second driver of Alfa Romeo G.Zhou.
Because the road temperature will be high and on Sunday all the drivers will look to get rid of the red Pirelli quickly as they will not go very far so the game will be played in yellow and mainly in white Pirelli.
