Alonso on… was it Perez? Put up your votes!
29th July 2012, 14:15 at 2:15 pm #206330necrodethmortemParticipantSenna on Perez, if any. Perez’ tyres were blown, but it was still a nifty move.
29th July 2012, 14:16 at 2:16 pm #206331ShaneB457Participant@necrodethmortem Yup I agree
29th July 2012, 14:16 at 2:16 pm #206332SlrParticipantApart from Alonso on Perez, the only other passes I remember were Kobayashi’s passes on the HRTs after his early pit stop. I personally wouldn’t nominate any pass from this race for pass of the year.

Alonso on Perez was a bit easy as Alonso was already ahead by his turn-in point. Maldonardo on someone was opportunistic (not di Resta) He followed a Force India pass him
29th July 2012, 14:24 at 2:24 pm #206334James_mcParticipantSenna on Perez, that was good even if Perez’s tyres were shot, it takes a bit of skill/bravery to go around the outside off-line with all the discarded bits of rubber there.
29th July 2012, 15:15 at 3:15 pm #206335Fer no.65ParticipantIt’s going to be hard to pick one…
Webber round the outside of Senna at the start was cool too. Opportunistic and important considering how Senna then managed to block everyone behind later on.
29th July 2012, 15:28 at 3:28 pm #206336RatboyKeymasterButton on Vettel into turn 3, I zoned out after that through boredom :/
29th July 2012, 15:54 at 3:54 pm #206337EstesarkParticipantRicciardo, Kovalainen, Petrov, Pic, Glock, de la Rosa and Karthikeyan on Schumacher at the start of the race :)
Only joking. Button on Vettel was pretty good at the start, I suppose. Vettel was at a disadvantage after trying, and failing, to get past Grosjean, but I honestly can’t think of any better ones.
29th July 2012, 17:23 at 5:23 pm #206338BullfrogParticipantMaybe it was just passing in the pits, but Kimi nabbing second off Grosjean was a good ballsy move.
29th July 2012, 19:38 at 7:38 pm #206339Keith CollantineKeymasterThis might be one of the quieter ones of these threads.
29th July 2012, 20:41 at 8:41 pm #206340dot_comParticipantKimi taking that second place off Romain was pretty good viewing! Probably my favourite pass was Senna on Perez, very committed but fair. Hopefully his team-mate was watching – after he’d finished crashing into Di Resta.
29th July 2012, 21:50 at 9:50 pm #206341KingsharkParticipantAlonso on Perez around the outside of turn 4 for me.
29th July 2012, 23:13 at 11:13 pm #206342Lin1876ParticipantSenna on Perez. Perez’ tyres may have been finished, so it wasn’t great, but it looked good in isolation.
29th July 2012, 23:42 at 11:42 pm #206343CiaranParticipantI’ll go for Senna on Perez. It was a bit easy, but still nicely executed.
