Indeed. There would not be nearly as much noise if it were just the Martini that was censored, as in Bahrain.

2nd June 2014, 17:03 at 5:03 pm #262191PieLighterParticipantOn the contrary, I think they will. They will spend vast amounts of money on something like this (which is a nice idea), only to be used for a couple of races each year, rather than fixing actual broadcasting problems. Such are their priorities.

Renault seem to have made a big mess of things, and oddly Caterham has the most mileage among the Renault teams, with Red Bull having spluttered around Jerez a few times before giving up.
The interesting thing for me will be to see how far back Red Bull are due to this, especially if their KERS gremlins from last year return, as it will result in a huge loss of power. Superior aero won’t help them there.
I would agree with Mercedes and McLaren being on top, at least at the start. And if anyone can master the smooth delivery required by these high-torque engines, it will be the likes of Button, Alonso et al.26th January 2014, 6:03 at 6:03 am #248230PieLighterParticipantDone.
6th January 2014, 15:46 at 3:46 pm #247955PieLighterParticipantIt would certainly be interesting to compare pay drivers then and now (in the early 90s for example), and of course the problem of them booting out actual talent, like Nico Hülkenberg.
Whether or not it’s suitable for an EPQ, I wouldn’t know, I chose not to do one and with hindsight that was a good idea, as my A Level subjects are quite tough. I’ve heard they can be about anything though, and it’s always best to do a subject about which you’re passionate.5th January 2014, 12:13 at 12:13 pm #228528PieLighterParticipantPlaying Morrowind and Age of Empires 2 HD.
28th December 2013, 16:57 at 4:57 pm #247583PieLighterParticipantF1 is not the pinnacle of motorsport – the rule changes reflect that fact.
25th December 2013, 11:29 at 11:29 am #247512PieLighterParticipantIf that happens to a championship contender then they’re completely stuffed, especially if their rivals get the right call and have a 1-2 with double points. Then the championship battle is over faster, negating the point.
12th November 2013, 17:35 at 5:35 pm #239139PieLighterParticipantI suppose we should be thankful that Marussia is no longer called Virgin. The jokes in 2010 were bad enough.
7th October 2013, 19:24 at 7:24 pm #242850PieLighterParticipantA good kick up the backside from Ross Brawn is exactly what McLaren needs right now.
23rd September 2013, 19:50 at 7:50 pm #241978PieLighterParticipantI’m pretty sure it is indeed Météo France. As to whether it’s for all teams, I don’t know.
