Hi Nick
to queue for the pitwalk you need to be at the La source entrance (it is the only entrance open). And don’t forget if you have weekend tickets (usually 3 different tickets one for each day) then you need to take ALL of them with you to be let in……….
I find the crush too much so i tend to just wander about and take photos ……..
Can’t wait- tickets arrived last week but got Goodwood to look forward to to get me in the mood!
Cheers

I have been to Spa each year since 2005 and ended up at Elephant. And go back every year….friendly folks, walk to track is anout 15 minutes or from Friday to Sunday you can book their shuttle bus. Good security and few problems, toilets and showers are clean.

And if you have special needs/oversized camper etc then let them know beforehand and they can fit you in an appropriate spot! We’ll be back there this year as well and can’t wait!

30th April 2012, 21:56 at 9:56 pm #181729siberianladyMemberI have always bought my tickets from here- fair prices, early delivery (got this year’s tickets a month ago already) and very helpful if your plans change and you need delivery to a different address.
http://www.spagrandprix.com13th February 2012, 21:42 at 9:42 pm #181732siberianladyMemberDepends what you want. I found the grandstands a bit cramped and restricting…..and if you sit in an uncovered one and the heavens open (which they tend to do pretty frequently in Spa) then all you’ll see are the brollies in front of you…… Had reports from folks last year that although they had expensive gold seats they saw nothing for just that reason. Wherever you choose you will need rain gear, good footwear (it is definitely not the place for heels and glamour) and keep warm as it can be pretty chilly! Shampoo on Eau Rouge after the race makes up for all that though!
13th February 2012, 21:38 at 9:38 pm #181727siberianladyMember@ Nick….a man after my own heart. Guess as I’ve always stayed at Elephant and been well looked after and made some excellent friends over the years I just wouldn’t consider anywhere else!
13th February 2012, 21:36 at 9:36 pm #181789siberianladyMemberHi folks
sorry not been around for a while- been battling with a frozen up house!
Kemmel is GA and a great place to sit……if you see a mixed bunch of nuts up there its us.
As for the wasps…last year was the first year I have had problems with the things…….and the weather can’t ever be that bad again. Been to Spa every year since 2005 and wouldn’t miss it for the world!
@Wayne…now you missed the discounts it is actually cheaper for you to buy your GY tickets at the gate. Ticket offices are open from Wednesday so no problem and they take credit cards, cash and debit cards.
Hope to see you all there…..am getting excited now its not long till the F1 cars roar on track again!13th February 2012, 21:21 at 9:21 pm #181755siberianladyMember@Nick
