Tyres
For the first time this year, drivers will have the choice of using Pirelli’s super soft tyre. This is identified by red lettering on the sidewalls and will be referred to as the ‘option’ tyre.
The soft tyre with yellow colouring will be the ‘prime’ tyre, having been the ‘option’ at the first five races.
Stewards
Former Toyota F1 driver Allan McNish will be the drivers’ adviser to the stewards this weekend.
You can follow McNish on Twitter, or using the F1 Fanatic Live Twitter app, and his tweets will be included in the stream on F1 Fanatic Live.
McNish joins Lars Osterlind, FIA world motor sport council member, and FIA vice president Jose Abed, on the stewards’ panel.
The track
Monte-Carlo preview video from Williams:
First used in 1929, and a permanent fixture on the world championship calendar since 1955, Monte-Carlo is an iconic circuit, home to one of the world’s most famous races.
Slow, narrow and lacking much in the way of run-off areas, what it lacks as a circuit for racing on it more than makes up for as a unique challenge for the drivers.

Isn’t it Alain Prost who is going to be the ex-driver advisor to the stewards this GP?

If anyone wants to buy the Monaco poster that is in Keith’s programme image, the link is here: http://pjtierney.bigcartel.com/
I ran across it about a month or so ago, and I’m planning on purchasing a few to adorn my bare walls.
