Good result for McLaren. They are definitely improving. I feel bad for Jenson though.

So, it does look like while McLaren-Honda are coming up as best of the rest, Williams are slipping further afield. Soon Renault might also eclipse Williams.
Oh, and Vettel needs to give a good shout-out to Kimi for holding up Verstappen in the earlier part of the race.
Silly radio restrictions penalizing Button – it was reasonably evident that they went into crisis mode during those comms, and to be handed a penalty was incredibly harsh.

It costed McLaren nothing, they were never going to get into the points anyway. Better this than inconsistent ruling.
What it does show though is how lucky Rosberg was to get 10sec post race penalty. Drive-through would have been more damaging.

But wasn’t Massa complaining that even after his steering rack was replaced, he felt it wasn’t right, but in the opposite direction? Its possible that after yesterday’s shunt with such an issue, his race was compromised on such a twisty circuit.
