  1. Hard to look past Max. Maximised everything and managed the race perfectly. Fernando and Lewis achieved the best they could with what they’ve got, as did Albon. A few stand out drives really!

  2. VER would’ve been an easy choice, but ultimately, I went for ALB as both DOTD & DOTW for reaching Q3 & points in an inferior car, even if the track suits Williams.

    1. Completely agree.

    2. Same for me.

  3. Albon…he’s giving us long suffering Williams fans hope!

    1. He did us proud today.

    2. yeah, it really is good to see what he can do with that car, I hope they can learn and built on that a bit @geemac, @dot_com

      1. Hopefully when the upgrade hits Logan’s car he’ll be able to get some results. I think he’s got some speed but really struggles to put a whole race weekend together.

Max was pretty faultless in my eyes, but largely unpressured. Therefore I’ve gone for Albon.

  5. What a lad this Albono guy!!1!

  6. Albon should run away with this.

  7. Must be Albon. Driving that Rabbit Hurch of a car to P7, keeping both Russell and Ocon behind him for dozens of laps is nothing short of genious driving.

  8. Carlos Sainz.
Just kidding, this must go to Albon.

  9. Best: Alonso, Albon, Max

Worst: Checo, Lance, both Fezzas, both Mercs

    1. Both Mercedes? Why? MAX had the most comfortable ride in the top 3 by a margin. Never threatened and allways making choices in comfort in the fastest car. Alonso lost out to Lewis in the beginning but reclaimed 2 pos with the second fastest car. But Ham you deemed to the aming the worst even though with the benefit of hindsight we know nicking the second was an overachievment for the Merc. Third place was the right place for the third fastest car. Along did great. It was stylistic battle, the donwforce light, low drag Williams in a Track with long straights made for a competing battle.

In terms of racing effort both Alo and Ham out in twice ass much as Max.

  10. Both Mercs? What did Hamilton do wrong this weekend? Why do Alonso and Verstappen get praise for coming 1st and 2nd in faster cars than Hamilton? He gave Alonso a close race despite being in the slower car. Top 3 and Albon were all very solid this weekend.

    1. Being there

  11. Albon. Verstappen, Alonso and Hamilton were all pretty much faultless (though Alonso came close to losing it on the wall).

  12. Voted for Albon this week. It was a bold call to put on slicks in Q2 and the driver delivered with a session topping time and make it to Q3. On Sunday, maximised the top speed of the car to stay ahead of the DRS train and score points. Decent drive from Alonso and Hamilton who kept the racing clean and enjoyable.

  13. Max won despite a bird stuck in his brake vent, he was supreme in wet conditions while checo in the same car is nowhere near him again.

  14. I voted for Max. Another immaculate performance.
