  1. Nico’s almost got the pole position trophy sewn up.

    1. Who would have taken a bet on that before this season, Rosberg beating Hamilton to that cup

    2. @kingshark

Well it is still closer though. I mean Monaco, Hungary and Ger 3 Ros poles with question marks next to it?. And you always say about Alo well he is no rocket, this year Ham has gone the Alo route and worked on Race pace. I mean look at the wins.

  2. Jeez those Mercs are fast!

If all goes well, they should be lapping most of the field by the looks of things!

Are we really awarding driver of the day based on a driver achieving the minimum expected result?

Sorry wrong place. Too many beers to be working a phone…

  3. Driver of the day: Marcus Ericsson. Beat the Marussias and Kobayashi.

    1. With a front wing his team principal said would put them up with the Sauber and Lotus, and if I saw it right Kobayashi didn’t even have that new one.

      1. he did, but broke it in his fp2 crash.

        1. I think that was the old spec as well.

      1. Well, Mercs and Williams are “expected” to be at the top, Red bull was frankly quite disappointing. Everyone qualified similar to where they usually do. Ericsson rarely out qualifies Koyabashi let alone the Marussias. So that’s why I think he did a good job.

    Great job by Ericsson

    1. Indeed. I always wonder how quick he would really be if not his “body mass”.

  5. Great lap by Rosberg! Hope this can mean that he can challenge and beat Hamilton on pace again! But the main story: Alonso. I hope Ferrari sees this. This man, is the man who they decided they wanna kick out. The man who out-qualified his World Champion teammate by 8 tenths, while Vettel was behind Ricciardo by 4 tenths. So Ferrari, I hope you are a failure for the next few years just because of your arrogance, and hope you fail with Vettel. Just remember Ferrari, if you are a loser for the next few year, remember you did this to yourself.

  6. Rosberg tonking Hamilton yet again on a so called drivers circuit.

  7. The 2015 Ferrari drivers are making row five their own already!

  8. If it’s wet, I wonder what will happen to the Williams. Will their pace advantage over the non-Mercedes teams dry out?

  9. Just to inform that JEV will get 10 place grid penalty http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2014/10/16441.html
